Kitty Cat Halloween Costume

All you need is a little tail, and you have a very pretty kitty.
This kitty costume is different than the normal black cat costume, having white, grey and black tulle in it. But if you were interested in an all black one, I could do that as well.

Candy Corn Costume

Here is the costume that Sara Rose will hopefully be wearing for Halloween. It is a candy corn. It is actually 2 separate tutus.

I still have to finish my pumpkin costume, bumblebee costume and cat costume. So more Halloween to come!

What do you think about our up coming additions?

So I have had MANY requests for hair bows that match the tutus. This is my first 5 that I made. They are all attached to alligator clips. I was also thinking about making some pony-tail holders and bigger clips that match the tutus.
What do you think? Are you interested in a hair bow to match your tutu?

Brillante Weblog Award!

Yay! I love awards!
I got this award from Kelly over at The Neurotic Mom. I love it! Isn't it pretty?

Have you checked out Kelly's blog? It really is a great and interesting read (and I would say that even if I was not a contributor).

One of the best parts of getting an award is being able to pass it on. So here are the people that I bestow the Brillante Blog Award to:

Mommy Meryl

New Mommy Rant

Pink Lemonade of Life

The Mommy and Me Boutique

Pink Lemonade Boutique Bags

Grumpy Cow

The Life of Princess Emma

So take this award, post it on your blog (if you want) and then pass it on to seven brillante bloggers of your choice. It's always important to share the love

Thanks Kelly I really appreciate it!

Buy a Sara Rose Tutu and Help Out a Charity

I have had the idea for awhile that I would like to find someway to be able to use my tutus to give to charity, and I finally figured it out.

Every 6 months, I will be picking a charity to work with. I will design a special tutu using the colors of the charity and then I will donate 30% of the proceeds of each tutu to that charity.

For example, the first charity that I will be working with is The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society through the Friends of Heroes team. When you purchase one of the special LLS tutus, 30% of the proceeds from the tutu will then go to LLS through theFriends of Heroes team. The special LLS tutu will be red and black tulle with a black ribbon (I will posting a picture of it tomorrow, I know that I should wait to post this until I have the picture, but I am too excited).

Speaking of Friends of Heroes and LLS, I wanted to add a reminder about the Blogging for Cancer Event. I posted on my other blog about it. And I have links to it on my sidebar here and on that blog. It is going on this week, please take a moment to check it out.

If you would like your charity to be our next charity, please contact me at
